The Salem Loggers are a professional ice hockey team that compete in the VHL, the top flight of ice hockey in Valoria. They play their home games at Naumkeag Arena since 1977.
The Loggers have won 11 trophies, winning 5 league titles (including the inaugural season in 1978) and 6 Coupes Balbuzard. The Loggers were one of the most competitive teams in the first decade of the VHL, developing an intense rivalry with capital-city rivals Boston. They are considered one of the "Big Four" VHF teams, along with the Boston Spirits, the Newfoundland Sailors, and the Providence Doves.
The club has been managed by Joseph Courtney since 2014, and captained by defenseman Leland Harper since 2016. In the 2024 VHL season, the Loggers finished 7th, and were eliminated by Halifax Hockey Club in the quarter-finals. They were eliminated 2–3 by the Acadia Rage in the Round of 16 of the 2023 Coupe Balbuzard.
