The Providence Doves are a professional ice hockey team that compete in the Valorian Hockey League. They play their home games at Providence Stadium.
The Doves have won 25 trophies, the third most out of any VHL team. They hold the record for most Coupes Balbuzard, with 10 victories to their name. They've won the league title 7 times, including 5 in the six-year period from 2000 to 2005, and the Earle Trophy 5 times. The Doves also hold the record for most Doubles, having won 3 (2003, 2005, 2012).
The club is currently managed by Antony Loper and captained by Randy Peterson, both since 2019. The Doves finished 5th in their 2024 VHL campaign, and were eliminated by EH Bas-Canada in the quarter-finals of the playoffs. They were eliminated in the Round of 16 of the 2023 Coupe Balbuzard by the Newfoundland Sailors.
