The Newfoundland Sailors are a professional ice hockey team based in St. John's and competing in the Valorian Hockey League. Since 1999, the Sailors have played their home games at Alexander Kaufman Arena.

With 35 trophies (11 league championships, 13 Earle Trophies, 10 Coupes Balbuzard, 1 Double), the Sailors are the second most decorated team in Valorian history. They are one of only three teams to have accomplished the coveted Double, having done so in 2016, and the only team to have won each of the major trophies ten times. Throughout their history, the Sailors have held intense rivalries with the Boston Spirits, the Providence Doves, and the Acadia Rage.

Dorian Hargrove has managed the club since 2009, and left-winger Danilo Lorenz has captained the club since 2014. The Sailors finished 6th in the league in their 2024 campaign, defeating the Mainers in the quarter-finals and being eliminated by Halifax in the semi-finals. The Sailors are reigning Coupe Balbuzard holders, becoming the first team to win three Coupes in a row by defeating the Acadia Rage 3–0 in the 2024 Coupe Balbuzard finals.
