Danilo Lorenz (born August 9th, 1986) is a Mayamian-born Valorian professional ice hockey player, playing as a left wing. He currently captains the Newfoundland Sailors and the Valorian National Team.
Lorenz began his professional career during the 2006 season, playing for the Acadia Rage. He won the Coupe Balbuzard with them in 2010. Lorenz moved to the Providence Doves ahead of the 2012 season, and was a key part of the Double-winning campaign that year. He won another Coupe Balbuzard with the Doves in 2013, before moving to the Newfoundland Sailors for the 2014 campaign. From the 2015 campaign onwards, he has captained the Sailors.
Across 18 full seasons, Lorenz has won 32 trophies: 6 league titles, 6 Earle Trophies, 8 Coupes Balbuzard, 2 Doubles, 4 League MVPs, and 6 Golden Pucks. He holds the records for most trophies won by an individual player, most Coupes Balbuzard won, and most Golden Pucks. He is widely considered one of the best active ice hockey players in the world.
