The Newfoundland Sailors are a professional ice hockey team based in St. John's and competing in the Valorian Hockey League. Since 1999, the Sailors have played their home games at Alexander Kaufman Arena.

With 34 trophies (11 league championships, 13 Earle Trophies, 9 Coupes Balbuzard, 1 Double), the Sailors are the second most decorated team in Valorian history. They are one of only three teams to have accomplished the coveted Double, having done so in 2016. Throughout their history, the Sailors have held intense rivalries with the Boston Spirits, the Providence Doves, and the Acadia Rage.

Dorian Hargrove has managed the club since 2009, and left-winger Danilo Lorenz has captained the club since 2014. The Sailors finished third in the league in their 2023 campaign, and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the playoffs [0 - 3] by the Mainers. The Sailors are reigning Coupe Balbuzard holders, having successfully defended their 2022 title by defeating the Acadia Rage 4 - 3 in the 2023 Coupe Balbuzard finals.
