The '''Providence Doves''' are a professional ice hockey team that compete in the [[Valorian Hockey League]]. They play their home games at Providence Stadium.

The Doves have won 25 trophies, the third most out of any VHL team. They hold the record for most [[Coupe Balbuzard|Coupes Balbuzard]], with 10 victories to their name. They've won the league title 7 times, including 5 in the six-year period from 2000 to 2005, and the [[Dan Earle Trophy|Earle Trophy]] 5 times. The Doves also hold the record for most [[Double (VHF award)|Doubles]], having won 3 (2003, 2005, 2012).

The club is currently managed by [[Antony Loper]] and captained by Randy Peterson, both since 2019. The Doves finished 5th in their [[VHL 2024|2024]] VHL campaign, and were eliminated by [[EH Bas-Canada]] in the quarter-finals of the playoffs. They were eliminated in the Round of 16 of the [[2023 Coupe Balbuzard]] by the [[Newfoundland Sailors]].
