The formal state attire of Valoria includes a number of dress codes for Valorian public officials.

Once worn on a day-to-day basis, most modern-day political figures no longer follow full formal state attire every day. Instead, state attire is reserved for the most important events, most notably the national holiday on September 26th.

Prime Minister[edit | edit source]

The office of the prime minister is perhaps most subject to formal wear.

Three-piece suits[edit | edit source]

Pocketwatch[edit | edit source]

Women's attire[edit | edit source]

Because there was no precedent for women as prime minister before Julia Anne-Claire took office in 2016, Anne-Claire largely contributed to shaping formal state attire for female prime ministers. Anne-Claire retained the pocketwatch as a prominent part of her attire, most often wearing it as an accessory on business skirts.

Anne-Claire's influences have largely been followed by other female politiical figures in Valoria, including prime minister Valerie Minerva.
