9 Things Your Parents Taught You About Lightest Double Stroller
Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller weight and fold size are key factors to take into consideration. Choosing one that's simple to use and compact when not in use will make it easier to fit into the trunk of your car and maneuver through airport gates and streets.
The most lightweight strollers feature a simple, intuitive fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This eases the burden on the parent's body. Many strollers come with different seating options and some are able to accommodate car seats for infants.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The design is geared towards families that are on moving. Compact and light weight, it has an easy one-handed fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as the multi-position reclining seats, can be used for children up 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids as well as a large storage bin and 3-tiered extended canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a flimsy, hard plastic seat and a style that appears outdated. It is also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for a budget option.
Although it's not the lightest double stroller, it does have enough features worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it is able to jump over curbs with little effort unlike other light strollers that diverge when trying to do the same thing. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push with your legs suspended in the air like that and it's not helping that it's not cushioned.
During testing, we found that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You have to slide the slider and then press the large white button. This can be a hassle particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that can fit a medium diaper bag. The basket is narrow, and you may need to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud includes a child and parent tray with two cup holders however both are too narrow to accommodate larger cups or bottles.

It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also has a one step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and have a strong neck control to use the front seat. It does have three panels of a nice sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray and cup holders for the parents.

Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some distinct distinctions. It's more expensive, but it has a better sun canopy and more maneuverability. It comes with a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate children weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.

Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents seeking a lightweight double stroller that can accommodate two children. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and offer a similar amount of headroom. It also allows children to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it has a fully reclining seat, which makes it an ideal choice for napping. Its recline mechanism is easy to operate but it isn't genuinely flat; taller kids might find they have a dangling leg when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking the sun's rays than other strollers in our review of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major problem for us with other models in our testing. It folds easily and its handlebars sit n stand double stroller close to the ground, making it easy carrying. The only drawback is its small storage space, which feels uncomfortable when filled with things for kids.

This includes the ease of use to fold and set up, how to adjust the safety harness and how to open and close brakes. We also lift and carry the strollers in a similar manner as if they were placed into a trunk and how to install and remove a baby car seat if applicable. We also looked at the durability and strength of the stroller, as well as whether each product has an adult tray that can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top rating for its ease of use in our most recent edition of our top double strollers guide, and one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its user-friendly design features an easy-to-use, tilt-free recline with one hand, a large canopy that rotates to the side for shade, a ventilation mesh that is visible when it's tilted.
