The concept of Valoria was established sometime in early 2018. Those elections were the first time I truly paid attention to a country's politics, the start of the interest I have for politics (and the social sciences in general) today. How did the concept of Valoria begin?
Obviously, an interest in politics, sociology, and history should go without saying. Beyond that, Valoria's origins can be pinned down to a single, foundational character: Julia Anne-Claire.
The concept of Valoria was established sometime in early 2018. At the time, I lived the municipality of Los Cabos, Mexico. 2018 was a general election year in the country—most states and municipalities held elections concurrent to the presidential contest. Those elections were the first time I truly paid attention to a country's politics, the start of the interest I have for politics (and the social sciences in general) today. While most eyes were on the presidential race, I also looked at our own municipal contest. It was won by Jesús Armida Castro Guzmán, the first woman president of the municipality of Los Cabos.
