How did the concept of Valoria begin?
Obviously, an interest in politics, sociology, and history should go without saying. Beyond that, Valoria's origins can be pinned down to a single, foundational character: Julia Anne-Claire.
The concept of Valoria was established sometime in early 2018. At the time, I lived the municipality of Los Cabos, Mexico. 2018 was a general election year in the country—most states and municipalities held elections concurrent to the presidential contest. Those elections were the first time I truly paid attention to a country's politics, the start of the interest I have for politics (and the social sciences in general) today. While most eyes were on the presidential race, I also looked at our own municipal contest. It was won by Jesus Armida Castro Guzmán, the first woman president of the municipality of Los Cabos.
