'''Valerie Minerva''' (born '''Valerie Radcliffe-Brooks''', November 4th, 1963) is a Valorian politician who has served as [[Prime Minister of Valoria|prime minister of Valoria]] since 2024. Prior to becoming prime minister, she was [[Premier of Boston]] from 2021 to 2024.

Growing up in Quincy, Boston Province, Minerva became active in politics in the early 2010s, holding a multitude of provincial offices in the cabinet of her cousin, [[Benjamin Radcliffe]]. In 2020, Minerva announced her candidacy for premier of Boston, shortly after Radcliffe's decision to run for [[President of Valoria|president]]. Minerva won her election, assuming office on February 1st, 2021, and becoming the first female [[premier of Boston]]. During her tenure, Minerva criticized at length a number of then-prime minister Arthur Reinhardt's policies, eventually leading to her announcing her candidacy for prime minister in 2023. With [[Kate Oliver]] as her running mate, she defeated [[Progressive Movement for Valoria|Movement]] delegate [[Alphonso Cavazos]] in the [[2024 Prime Ministerial Election|general election]].

Minerva is the second female prime minister in Valorian history. Her election to the office caused controversy, as she has been accused of being too close to President Radcliffe.
