Editing Golden Puck (VHF award)

The '''Golden Puck''' (French: ''palet d'or'') is an award presented annually in July by the [[Valorian Hockey Federation]] to the prior season's best-performing player.

Inspired by soccer's [[wikipedia:Ballon_d'Or|Ballon d'Or]], the VHF has awarded the Golden Puck anually since 1978, with the exception of in 2020, due to the [[wikipedia:COVID-19_pandemic|COVID-19]] pandemic. The winner is voted on by a panel of VHL analysts and journalists.

The current holder is the [[Newfoundland Sailors]]' [[Danilo Lorenz]], who won a record-breaking sixth award in 2024.
